Tom and Chris Kastle are singers, sailors, songwriters, and copyrighters, internationally acclaimed for their interpretations of traditional material as well as their original works. They have performed at festivals, concert and on radio and television throughout the United States and in Canada and Europe. Both served as crew aboard several Great Lakes schooners and are recognized as part of a continuing maritime tradition. In addition to their performance work, they lecture, give masters classes, residences, workshops and have served as resources for historical, environmental and educational organizations. They can also be heard as part of their neo-electric, parody, shanty band "A Bunch of Teeth".
